I really liked the way Leigh embraced the technology, but with an emphasis on the learning, not on the hype.

i like how leigh is able to drop the ‘bells and whistles’ and get to the heart of the matter. His workshop and keynote address typify the exceptional skill that this young man has – he is able to present some stunning thinking ‘outside the box’ … good stuff leigh

Was it just me or did everyone else value one of the highlights of this conference? FINALLY someone talking about ‘open networks’ and less bully-boy tactics and “locking things down” to make learning more difficult. Leigh Blackall’s position was clearly put … stop closing off learning and open the path to inspiration.

I found Leigh’s address to be a stimulating talk very well constructed with a seamless concoction of IT applications. Even old farts like me can learn new things and Leigh certainly made me re-think my teaching.
