Sally Blackwell – Strand : eLearning (S2-SP4)
“Connected to Learning”

Sally Blackwell, originally a primary teacher, now working as a consultant with the NSW Department of Education and Training, has worked to help teachers integrate ICT into their teaching in meaningful and innovative ways. She manages a number of programmes within the Centre for Learning Innovation, including the online projects, the Annual Schools Web Design Awards, Through My Window and Ebenezer Q Emu. She has managed the development of numerous documents including a series on integrated ICT into teaching and learning “Computer -based technologies in the …KLAs.”

Sally will outline a number of the innovative programmes, projects and resources available through the Centre for Learning Innovation (CLI) that help connect students through the use of ICT in learning. CLI produces high quality multimedia resources for schools and TAFE as well as design and run online projects for students and provide advice for adaptive technologies for students with a disability.
